July 7, 2026
Our July session at The Lenox Hill Neighborhood House was filled with beautiful music and heartfelt storytelling. Traci Bair welcomed everyone with the classic "Let's Fall In Love," setting a joyful tone for the afternoon.
While Halli Toland, currently in Moulin Rouge! The Musical on Broadway, performs pop music onstage every night, she shared her excitement to sing a Golden Age favorite "Cockeyed Optimist." Ro Dempsey had the audience laughing one moment and wiping away tears the next as she shared personal stories before her moving rendition of "On My Own," dedicated to her late father. Ren Ragsdale's soaring performance of "Feed the Birds" inspired one audience member to rush to the front afterward to ask about the beautiful song. Pianist Noah Turner accompanied the afternoon with his signature artistry and delighted everyone with a Gershwin piano solo.
The afternoon ended on a high note as audience members surrounded us before we left, making sure to collect all of our remaining 2026 session dates to write in their calendars. Their excitement in welcoming Sing For Your Seniors back throughout the year was a wonderful reminder of the meaningful relationships that continue to grow through sharing music.
