About Session

From SFYS Artist Daniel Plimpton: Today's holiday-themed session was filled with joy and heartfelt moments. SAGE is always a tremendous host; we had quite the turnout for an hour of music. We even had special guests!! I'm currently doing WHITE CHRISTMAS, and our lovely Betty and Judy Haynes (played by Meadow Nguy and Darien Crago) joined us to sing the Irving Berlin classic, "Sisters." Sarah Ellis absolutely SLEIGHED

with her rendition of “Jingle Bells” à la Barbra Streisand. Michel Patrician brought smooth, effortless vocals and warmth to her Christmas selections. Finally, Carrie Jaboor pretended to be cold in Orlando, singing beautifully to boot.

The most special moment was when our SAGE coordinator, Christian, came in to close us out with their earnest and tender take on "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?" They are leaving for a new life adventure, and will be greatly missed by those at SAGE and at Sing For Your Seniors. Thank you for everything, Christian. You brought me to tears today.

It was a perfect holiday moment; everyone left feeling cozy and warm, and thoroughly entertained. Happy Holidays, indeed!
