"What a wonderful afternoon yesterday at Bristal Assisted Living on the UES! Molly Rushing, Ashley Ruth Jones and I had the pleasure of meeting a small but mighty group of seniors, and of singing accompanied by the incomparable Mason Griffin on the piano.
This was Molly's first session with SFYS. Her voice and her spirit were absolutely beautiful!
Ashley Ruth was so giving and lovely. She shared that this was her first time singing for anyone since the "beforetimes." I'm so happy we were able to share in her return to performing for the seniors at Bristal.
Mason shared a Sondheim medley at the baby grand that brought tears to all of our eyes.
Thank you, seniors and staff at Bristal Assisted Living. Big thanks to Megan Marod for that day at an audition when you introduced me to Jackie and Sing For Your Seniors. You have no idea how much joy you brought to my life.
