About Session

Our session with Inspir Carnegie Hill was a sweet, uplifting Broadway themed afternoon on Tony Award Sunday!

Aléna served up a mix of "Someone To Watch Over Me" from the musical “Oh, Kay!” along with the catchy song "As Long as There is Love" from the new heartfelt family musical – which she and the company just closed on Broadway — Mrs. Doubtfire.

Taylor lit the room up with "Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man" from “Show Boat” and she had us all chuckling with her adorable and spirited rendition of "I Cain't Say No" from the classic musical “Oklahoma.”

Ashley offered a beautiful rendition of "Somebody Somewhere" from “The Most Happy Fella,” and offered a sweet, lively "If I Were a Bell" from “Guys And Dolls.”

Melanie had our seniors singing along with a beautiful tribute to Judy Garland with "Somewhere Over The Rainbow,” and sang a moving "What I Did For Love" from “A Chorus Line.”

And we are excited to welcome Lulu Chen to the SFYS family, who did a wonderful job creating underscoring for everyone's song intros on the spot, and did a lovely job accompanying us all.

Inspir seniors Mary Alice and Robert said they had a wonderful time, that they felt uplifted, and wanted to know if we'll be back! Why yes we will!

It is an honor to bring a sense of lightness and entertainment to our senior communities, and the session had us all feeling grateful to share connection through music!
