About Session

From Session Leader Aléna Watters: "Yesterday's SFYS session was an absolute joy. It was the first in-person SFYS session for several of our performers, and it was filled with smiles, giggles sing alongs and mini dance breaks!

There were many musical theatre and jazz classics shared, such as “Someone To Watch Over Me,”“Misty,” “Somewhere Over The Rainbow,” and “I Could Have Danced All Night,” which included one of our seniors, Spencer, taking the mic and finishing us off with a passionate sing along.

We shared some Disney favorites, like “Part of Your World” and “For The First Time in Forever,” and a Muppet Movie favorite “Rainbow Connection.”

And this Sunday session was capped with “Something To Talk About” by Bonnie Raitt; I’d say we gave our friends at Inspir something to talk about.

After the session, the Inspir seniors shared that they had a wonderful afternoon, were grateful to enjoy the musical offerings and look forward to seeing us again next month!"
