Encore Community Services

The participants at Encore Community Services had an extra reason to celebrate at this month’s session as they celebrated the elevator finally being repaired. There were even short speeches from Erik Bottcher and other elected officials. Some of the officials stayed to catch a part of the SFYS performance and told the artists it was wonderful!

Anna MB opened with “A Cockeyed Optimist” and followed with “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’.” Robin brought the house down with “When Will I Be Loved” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.”

Next Anna Telfer sang “On the Street Where You Live” and “Part of Your World,” the latter as a sweet shoutout to Iris, Ashley’s baby girl. Then Ashley sang “La Vie en Rose.” But Iris quickly stole the show with “Let It Go” on her very own microphone!

Finally, Ronald sang a wonderfully wild number from BARNUM and closed the show with “My Way.”

As always, this session was such a joy and the SFYS artists can’t wait to return!
