Down Syndrome of Louisville

It was so wonderful to be back with our friends at DSL. Sidney gave us some gorgeous jazz standards, including “Fly Me To The Moon.” Emma sang some classic musical theatre songs, including the classic “A Spoonful of Sugar'' from “Mary Poppins.” Following the Disney theme, Michel beautifully performed “Part of Your World” with ocean sounds. Cat got us all up and dancing to “Mamma Mia.”

As always, the members of DSL closed the session with a dance for us that put huge smiles on everyone’s face. The DSL members are so lively and full of love, and they bring such joy to each other and our singers.

It warms everyone’s hearts when they all unmute themselves to say thank you in English and American Sign Language before we all sign out of zoom. We can’t wait to continue performing with them next year!
