This session at Alzheimer’s Foundation of America was an expression of joy in every form. The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America participants, friends and family members sang, danced, laughed and clapped the whole time.
They were slow-dancing in the aisles to Beth's "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve." They belted along with Jessie's tender "Where the Boys Are." Meghan's "I Could Have Danced All Night" swept the audience off their feet. They clapped and jammed to Gabrielle's jazzy "Cool Yule.” Suzane led epic sing-alongs to "I'll be Home for Christmas" and "Jingle Bells.”
All of this was expertly facilitated with the help of our live accompanist Mark, who thrilled us with a few jazz solos of his own.
From start to finish, this session was a celebration of community, music and holidays. We cannot wait to spend more time with our friends at Alzheimer’s Foundation of America in 2024!
