Our June 13th session at Alzheimer's Foundation of America in NYC was a dose of delight!
This group of gals, and our talented pianist Mason, had a lovely mix of pop and Broadway tunes that had our crowd smiling and singing along; we even had some audience members up on their feet dancing for joy.
Through Aléna's enlivening "Something To Talk About" and "Happily Ever After,” Megan's rousing renditions of "This Place Is Mine" and "Primitive Man,” Rebekkah's soaring "Much More" and "I Could Have Danced All Night,” and Melanie's powerful interpretations of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" and "People,” our audiences were captivated and moved. One of our seniors commented, "That energy between performer and the audience... there's nothing like it!"
