The room at Alzheimer’s Foundation of America was as bright as the newly sprung spring day outside! Our friends at AFA were such a vibrant audience from beginning to end. Members and caregivers alike moved and swayed to a jazzy "They Can't Take That Away from Me." They sang along to Rodgers & Hammerstein favorites like "A Cockeyed Optimist."
Rebbekah sang glorious renditions of "The Sound of Music." Jackie had them laughing with songs like "Times Like This" and "I Don't Want To Be Here." Everyone said "wow" as Emily displayed her stellar vocals on songs like "Spark of Creation" and "Hit Me With a Hot Note." Rebekkah closed out our session on a high note with a grand sing-a-long of "I Could Have Danced All Night."
The joy we shared certainly kept us dancing all-day. Special thanks to our pianist Christopher who didn't miss a single note the whole session, and the audience wasn't shy to give him applause. We can't wait to see our Alzheimer’s Foundation of America friends again soon.
