About Session

Thursday’s session was as intimate and joyful as could be! The Alzheimer's Foundation of America provided a gorgeous space for our performers. We had a small group, so we all got to chat about Broadway history, our dogs, and favorite composers.

Jacqulyn, a SFYS veteran, had us all giggling in our seats with Sondheim’s “Comedy Tonight.” Then Liz kept us laughing with “Never Fall in Love with an Elf” from “ELF: the Musical” for her first session with SFYS. Morgan sang some princess favorites like “Journey to the Past” from “Anastasia.”

As a special treat, Noriko, our accompanist, played beautiful instrumental music including a melody from “The Sound of Music.” The session ended with Morgan’s favorite song to dance to, “Dancing Queen.” The members and friends at AFA brought their amazing dance moves and voices, and we can’t wait to see them next month!
