On this gorgeous spring day, we were back at Inspir!
Megan started us off with a beautiful rendition of “If I Loved You.” Many of our seniors sang with her from the audience, acting out the song and waiving their arms in the air with glee.
Lukas followed with “On the Street Where You Live.” One senior called out “how wonderful” in anticipation of hearing this classic.
Molly’s rendition of “The Sound of Music” was so special. She really brought us into Maria’s environment on those famous hills. Again, our seniors cried out in excitement when they recognized this famous song.
Our SFYS sessions don’t just include singing, but also storytelling. Molly talked about what it was like to understudy on Broadway, Megan shared how she chose a new song to add to her rep, and Lukas talked about his life on the road in a touring production.
Our seniors really love to hear about the lives of actors, and it’s fun to share our experiences with them! Until next time Inspir!
