About Session

SFYS had a blast at Inspīr Assisted Living and Memory Care on September 10. Our singers told stories, laughed with residents and sang classic Broadway hits. Noah even graced us with a stunning piano solo.

The session began with Morgan’s favorite Rodgers and Hammerstein tune, “Cockeyed Optimist.” She also sang about her love of New York and Sondheim with “What More Do I Need?”

Courtney sang “He Was Tall” from CINDERELLA and “On the Steps of the Palace” from a different interpretation of CINDERELLA in her gorgeous soprano. She made the audience giggle with tales about her world travels and her puppy named Buttons.

Devin celebrated her first in person session singing classics like “The Sound of Music” and “If I Loved You” in her soaring soprano.

The residents were singing along the whole time and engaged in conversations about New York City, love and, of course, their favorite music!

We finished the session with “Happy Birthday” for Marie, a huge Sing For Your Seniors fan, and all the late summer birthdays.
