It was so wonderful to be back with our Down Syndrome of Louisville family!
We had some SFYS regulars, longtime supporters, and some new to Zoom artists with us today.
Highlights included Kiera beginning our session with a lovely “If I Were a Bell.” Laura sang a beautiful “Part of Your World.” Megan encouraged us to get our favorite things from our house, while she sang “My Favorite Things” from “The Sound of Music.” Beth, who has sang for DSL many times, sang a gorgeous “When Will My Life Begin?”
We celebrated DSL audience member Madeline’s birthday during the session, all erupting into song together. At the end of the session, which has become tradition with DSL, our audience performed for us! They showed us some wonderful moves, with some American Sign Language and props to boot. Thank you Down Syndrome of Louisville for brightening up our Sunday!
