There is nothing quite like gathering around a piano and connecting to one another through song to usher special holiday magic into our hearts!
Our program included holiday favorites and Broadway classics with a group sing along to “White Christmas” led by Jacob Gutiérrez-Montoya. Special junior SFYS artists, Riley and Maddie, made the crowd swoon when they took the stage. Maggie’s giggle-inducing “Always True to You in My Fashion” and Dani’s heartfelt “Count Your Blessings” were special highlights in the session. Kate and Jackie closed the show with a message of hope and resilience from “Happy Days/Get Happy.”
Our audience was all a buzz during the meet-and-greet as we shared hugs and happy regards. Nancy, who spent most of the session singing along in the front row, shared her gratitude. She explained how the music made her heart sparkle with joy as she gestured her fluttering hands to her chest. “Me, too, Nancy!” I tearfully replied with a mirrored smile.
