About Session

We were a small, intimate group at Alzheimer’s Foundation of America this month.

Liz sang “It’s A Lovely Day Today” to chase away the icy rain outside and then brought out a crowd favorite “My Favorite Things” from THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Then she brought in a modern energy with “Because of You.”

Ren brought a mix of song styles with “A Change in Me” and “Stars and the Moon.” Then she led a sing-along with the artists and audience to “Over the Rainbow.”

One guest was singing Gilbert and Sullivan before we started the session and joined Ron to sing along to “Some Enchanted Evening” from SOUTH PACIFIC.

Noah wowed the room displaying his repertoire on the piano from Mozart’s “Für Elise” to Gershwin's “The Man I Love” to Debussy’s “Clair de Lune.” Noah’s closing piece, Chopin’s “Walz in C-Sharp Minor”, was so moving Ron and Liz got up and waltzed to close the session with dancing and laughs.
