We’re thrilled to welcome a new community partner: the 92NY! Our very first session there was a smashing success—our artists had elders and their caregivers singing, dancing and even tearing up with joy.

Lyric sheets set the stage for spirited sing-alongs to favorites like “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “Moon River” and “Dancing Queen.” The afternoon ended on a powerful note with Ron’s moving rendition of “My Way.”

One of the seniors’ daughter shared that although her mother—who is in the later stages of memory loss—wouldn’t recall the details of the hour, the joy she felt would stay with her all day.

These moments display the heart of the Sing For Your Seniors mission. We’re excited to begin this new partnership and cannot wait for what’s ahead!
