From SFYS Accompanist Mason Griffin: At 305 West End Assisted Living something very special happened yesterday – we performed in-person for the first time since the Spring of 2020! The joy that emanated from our enthusiastic audience was palpable.
Audience members were singing along with many tunes that they immediately recognized; songs of their era. Every melody unlocked a memory.
Afterwards, several people came up to us and asked if we were all studying at Juilliard! I was floored by that comment, but indeed the music that came forth today was worthy of such high praise. Many thanks to Jeremy, Megan, Melanie and Rebbekah for giving this pianist and our listeners at 305 some happiness today.
