We had a wonderful virtual Birthday Session on Sunday to celebrate our sixteen years as an organization. Our audience included seniors, SFYS artists, and friends & family all joining in to share the special day!
It was beautiful to reflect on our history, with each artist telling vivid stories of their favorite sessions over the years. Every song held a memory, as each voice rang out with emotion.
After the session we got to hear from a few of our friends from Central Harlem Senior Citizens Center, about how much the music and our time together means to them. Our artists echoed every ounce of gratitude, revealing the meaningful bond that makes up our SFYS family. Happy sixteen years of joy, music, community, and love!
