Napoleon is an international actor, teaching artist, producer and entrepreneur. He serves as the Administrative Coordinator for City Voices – a nonprofit that provides free, high quality, individualized music instruction to underserved students in the Des Moines Public Schools. His corporate resume reflects performance art administration, project coordination, change management and community relations in local, regional and national positions for entities such as Denver Center Theatre Company, NAACP, Midtown Arts Center, Drake University and Phi Gamma Delta just to name a few. His vast performance experience includes Stage Theatre, Film, Commercial, Voice Over, Instrumental Music, Dance, among others, including participating in the 2009 Inaugural Parade for President Barack Hussein Obama II. As a teaching artist, Napoleon has directed, choreographed, coached and taught hundreds of students and professionals over the last seven years. This music is more than a performance - it takes these Seniors back to some of their fondest memories. Times they wouldn't be able to think of otherwise, but with the sound of a simple melody they remember almost everything, even down to what they were wearing. That is why I serve this board, to assist in continuing those memories for those in our community who have put in their time.”
